Senior Market Director, Corporate Development | American Diabetes Association | Los Angeles, CA

American Diabetes Association seeks an experienced professional to be
the Senior Manager of Corporate Development - Workplace Giving within
the Los Angeles area. The successful professional will be responsible
for partnering with National and Market Directors to develop and
implement corporate access strategies related to workplace giving. Other
responsibilities include:
Provide follow-up to those companies agreeing to participate in
workplace giving opportunities.
Build and nurture relationships with key corporate staff at headquarter
locations.
Develop communication materials for internal and external audiences
related to ADA's workplace giving efforts.
Identify leads for workplace giving, matching gift and volunteer
recruitment opportunities [in addition to opportunities with the
National Director].
Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Five to seven years of experience relevant to the position.
- Ability to work as a team member in a team environment.
- Excellent follow through and execution. Ability to multi-task.
- Detail oriented and solid development process.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Flexible
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with
an ability to interact effectively from across divergent geographical
and socio-economic backgrounds is important.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must posses the ability to perform in a large metro area
- Frequent travel within assigned communites is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Own or access to car for travel
